Once again I am thankful to be able to write you asking for your prayers.
We (a local church here in Jacal and myself) continue to minister to teenagers especially in the village of San Marcos. The battle has been difficult with some of those who have suffered from demonic activity and whose families are very Catholic and/or involved in witchcraft. Although they express a desire to follow the Lord in their time of suffering, when the teen is doing better they begin to draw back. So I ask that you pray that these families will open their spiritual eyes to see more fully the depth of their need for the Lord.
This has resulted in discipleship Bible studies for the teens every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. It is pure excitement to see these young folk digging into the Word of God. So far 31 people have received or bought a Bible. The attendance has had its ups and downs ranging from 2 to 24. Please pray that the teens and their families will continue to come and open their hearts to the Lord.
